Our speakers at EMFF 2020 are:
Jenny Graham – Sunday 16th February at 7pm
In 2018, Jenny set off, eastbound, from Berlin with the aim of becoming the fastest female to cycle the 18,000 miles around the world. Riding unsupported, she rode through 15 countries as she smashed the record by 20 days, coming home in 124 days. It’s worth considering that when Mark Beaumont broke the record for the route back in 2008, his time was 194 days!
Jenny, from Inverness, will recount tales of her journey in a bubbly and fun way, sharing the fun times as well as the hardships and determination faced on her epic journey.
Leon McCarron – Saturday 15th February at 7pm
In December 2015, Northern Irish adventurer, film-maker and writer Leon McCarron set off from Jerusalem to walk 1,000 miles through the heart of the Middle East. The five-month-long journey took him through the rolling green hills and terraced olive groves of the West Bank; the deep chasm-like wadis and ancient kingdoms of Jordan; and the vast, rugged deserts of the Sinai peninsula.

Anna McNuff – Sunday 16th February at 2pm
Anna is an adventurer, speaker, author and mischief maker. Named by the Guardian as one of the top female adventurers of our time, Condé Nast Traveller included her in a list of the 50 most influential travellers in the world. She has cycled over 20,000 miles in Europe and the Americas, including through all 50 states of the USA. She has also run the length of New Zealand, and has a penchant for rollerblading.
In the summer of 2019 she set off on her most ambitious adventure yet – an attempt to run 2,620 miles (100 marathons) through Britain… in her bare feet.
