Sarah Outen MBE – Sunday 4th February at 2pm
Sarah has spent more than a year rowing solo across the world’s oceans, kayaked for thousands of miles in remote and beautiful places, and cycling the bits in-between. Her most recent adventure was a 4.5 year expedition looping the planet using human power. An advocate of getting outside and of breaking down the lack of diversity in the adventure world, Sarah is all about sharing the good energy and spirit of the outdoors. She’s not one for hyperbole – but is appreciated for her rawness, honesty and smiling ability to share both the storms and the sunshine. Sarah is an ambassador and patron for a number of charities and is an author of two books Dare to Do and A Dip in the Ocean.

Pete Whittaker – Saturday 3rd February at 2pm
Pete has been climbing since the age of 7. Growing up in Peak district it was the technical and bold climbing that caught his imagination. Even on the un-adventurous outcrops of the Gritstone, he seeked adventure in pursuing new routing and 24 hour challenges. He has taken his style of climbing into Europe and over to America, where he made first ascents of ‘the worlds hardest offwidth’ and ‘the worlds largest roof climb’. The challenge and endurance aspect he loves about climbing has lead him to Yosemite where, in 2016, he became the first person to solo-free El Capitan – doing so in under 24 hours.
